New Jersey Legal Negligence Lawyer
Insurance Company Bad Faith, Medical Malpractice, and Other Professional Malpractice Cases
I have been trying cases for over 20 years and have handled legal malpractice cases for more than 15. My current practice is composed of:
I also handled many cases in these areas:
- Insurance Company Fraud: Many insurance companies refuse to pay valid claims. They know they've got you, often at your weakest moment, after your home has been destroyed or your business has been damaged. They know that if they delay things, you may be forced to take less than you deserve. I've been fighting insurance companies my whole career. I've won some big cases. In 1985, I tried the Ellmex case for more than a week and won the appeal, all for a $20,000 claim. I just would not let the insurance company get away with it.
- Medical Malpractice: I represent those who have been harmed by the incompetence of a doctor, nurse or other medical professional. Common cases involve birth injuries, failures to diagnose, surgical mistakes, emergency room errors, medication errors, and wrongful death. And the cover up. There's almost always a cover up.
- Other Professional Malpractice: The law, for many years, prevented consumer fraud claims against professionals such as lawyers, insurance agents, agents, and architects. I have never agreed with this. If a salesman intentionally deceives you to make the sale, he can be sued for consumer fraud. But if an architect or lawyer does it, he or she was immune. This was unfair. I was involved in a case where we changed that. Now professionals, like architects, can be often sued for consumer fraud.
